Have you ever been in one?
I was in a tornado when I lived with my parents. I was at some church thing, and I was driving home, all of a sudden the radio goes blank and it is the National Weather Service telling drivers to pull off the road to a ditch or underpass. A tornado was just about there, so I drove quickly to a friends house, got in, and stayed there. I called to tell them I was safe, then it hit.
I was maybe a weak F2? It didn't do significant damage. Few trees toppled and power down. Shingles were ripped too.
Since then I have not been in one.
