NBA Finals!

This Series is starting to get really interesting. Dirk played pretty bad yesterday, along with D-wade. Bosh played surprisingly well, though.

Main reason Dirk played so poorly is because he had the flu.

With that in mind, I think he played pretty well, actually.

Yeah, Dirk Nowitzki did play well considering he had the flu. I am shocked how well Chris Bosh played, he was hitting those mid-range shots that we have seen him miss in the past. Dwayne Wade didn't play that bad, he wasn't very good in the last few minutes of the game though. LeBron James was cold. Hopefully LeBron James will make a bigger impact in the last 2-3 games of the series.

Lebron was playing like he did during game 5 last year when the Cavs were knocked out. The reason I don't like him that much is because he doesn't try hard during every game. It seems as if he plays when he wants to and when he doesn't he is just out there.

Seriously? All players have their off-days. He wasn't shooting very well, but you could definitely tell he was still helping the team, he made a few nice assists. It was just an off-day for his shooting.

Yes I am serious. If you look at the tapes, you can see that he doesn't always try his hardest all the time.

It's not possible to try your hardest all the time. Trust me, it's a bit exhausting running up and down the court so much. If you are referring to what I think you are referring to, just about all athletes will do that every once in awhile.

Uh oh, the Mavs have a 3-2 lead. And Lebron continued his streak of no-show 4th quarters.

Since the Phoenix Suns aren't in the finals, let alone they didn't qualify for the playoffs I could honestly care less who wins. Though, I'm pulling for the Heat in this series because I know there's a bunch of Heat haters and also because my dislike for Mark Cuban is stronger than my dislike for the Heat.

So I'll be a bandwagon Heat fan until the finals are over, just like 90% of the rest of their fanbase, and 90% of the Mavs fanbase right now.

Where are these alleged Heat haters at? I want to meet them!

They're everywhere. Especially LeBron James haters. Just go to any bar in Cleveland. 😛
Game 6 is tomorrow night! The Dallas Mavericks could end it tomorrow!

I hope it doesn't end tomorrow, and I also hope the NBA doesn't get locked out like it sounds like it could. A year without any NFL or NBA could make life very boring! Go Suns and go Heat (but only until the finals are over)!

Everywhere? It sure seems like I'm in the vast minority rooting against them.

Not at all. Most people are rooting for the Mavericks, they want to see Dirk win the title he deserves. Also, people hate what LeBron James did and the forming of the big 3 in Miami.

I hate the Big 3 thing, but it doesn't matter much when it comes to Heat vs. Mavs. I've always thought Mark Cuban was a moron, and never really cared much for Dirk (though he's growing on me), and I may dislike the Big 3 (minus Wade, the only good one of the three), but I'd rather see the Big 3 win one instead of Mark Cuban.

I know a bunch of Heat haters, which is another small reason why I'm cheering for them. Even though if they do win, it'll only add to the Kobe vs. Bron argument everyone loves which happens to be extremely annoying!

People keep telling me, but all I see is more Heat fans.

BTW, I am pretty indifferent to Mark Cuban and the Mavericks, but I couldn't stand Lebron James when he entered the league, and his bull that he pulled this summer has only made it worse. I never disliked Wade, and I kinda liked Bosh. But after joining their little super-team and acting like they're the hottest thing since the sun should not be rewarded. I don't much care for anyone on the team anymore.

The Dallas Mavericks take on the Miami Heat in a rematch of the 2006 Finals.

I think Dirk Nowitski is too much for the Heat to handle, they don't really have anyone that I believe can guard him.

I think the Mav's will take the series in 6 games. 5 games if Caron Butler comes back from his injury.

What are your thoughts on the series?

With the 4:2 comin up tonight you have hit the nail on the head back then. respect!!
Auf gehts Dirk!!! :cheer:

Game 6 is tonight. The Dallas Mavericks will end it tonight. 😉

The Dallas Mavericks have done it. What an upset. The Mavs are this year's NBA champions!

Congratulations to the Dallas Mavericks. 🙂
