Need a Logo Please

Size in pixels:~486 x 64ish (Can make it taller if you need to and it still looks good, but not too tall)
Type of payment: 200 FP or $4 PayPal
Link to forum or screenshot: I want one for my forum http://techgeeks-online.com/forum/ and for my blog http://techgeeks-online.com/ They should be the same except that the forum should say "Forum" after it and will be a bit wider because of that. The blog one should be around the size it is now. Just be creative and make it pretty for me 🙂
Colour scheme: Blueish, Grayish, whatever you think works. Background should be transparent so it looks nice at that forum header. I'd like some modern logo 🙂 No retro looks please.
Text / Subtext on image: I'm changing my site's name to W3Techie so that's why I need new logos. I think you can be really creative for this so I'll leave it up to you.

I was thinking W^(superscript 3)techie (techie beginning with a lowercase 3 and without a space).

Or you could make the W or w3 in a cube (because it's W^cubed).

Just have fun with it and make something awesome 🙂 I'm not a graphic designer and you're the professionals that know what you're doing.

I actually really like how that looks 🙂



The font isn't what I had in mind (I was experimenting with Calibri and Myraid Pro and Verdanna - those types of fonts) but this looks attractive.

I just feel like that "W3" is too heavy. Do you know what I mean? :/ Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to try it with that "3" as a superscript that's either even with the top of the W, or a tiny bit higher.

And then for the blog one, it's on a white background, so maybe we could just change the stroke color? Maybe the "W3" in a dark-er-esque blue and the "Techie" in something grayish? That's just my vision but I'm sure you could find a way to make it beautiful.

So where do I go from here? Do I wait for some other designer to make their own version of it and then pick what I like best? I'm unsure of how this works :/ if there's more than one interested designer maybe I'll just pay all of you a bit and then pay the one I actually buy the rights to the full price.

@ Shahrier and Sobi: Nope sorry guys :/ I feel like those aren't Web 2.0. I'm not trying present the forum as a retro tech place, it needs to be modern and smooth. I feel like neither of those accomplish that for me right now.

Shahrier - The 'button' thingy, that gradient, the stroke, and the font I don't like.

Sobi - The font, and that "white-blue" gradient on the W3 doesn't work.

And guys both of those wouldn't work on white backgrounds. I need one for the blog's white background and one for the forum's darker background, that are nearly identical so I can brand it well.

For now I'm just waiting on .Abhishek 🙂
