I need a name for my general forum. I'm going to take advantage of that godaddy promotion

Some i'm thinking of are:
anything-forum.co.uk (i live in the UK so this works well)
anything-forum.org
general-forum.co.uk
general-forum.org

What do you lot think?

Why don't you think of something like Wober? Those names are boring in my opinion.

Networkia? I don't know, I agree, those names kind of sound dull.

Yeah but i want a name that's easy to remember and will give members an idea of what the forum is about. There's nothing i hate more than visiting a domain that has nothing to do with the site.

I like AeonChat. If you pick a boring name, people might look at as if it is a boring bored.

i wouldnt include a (-) it decreases the value of your domain damatically in my opinion. as for a name ill have a think

This. :great:

But obviously something different 😉

I agree with everyone else. Boring names make the forum seem boring and commercial. That's why I chose Said Wicked for my forum name. It's catchy and it kind of has something to do with talking and chatting. It randomly came to me a long time ago though. You could look at a thesaurus and look up talk/chat etc. And see what you come up with. Otherwise you can just make up a word like Teeble or something like that. Those are usually the best names!

Those are very boring names. Something like
Wozow
OurSpace
World of Faces

How about, YourForum? Zeeper? Just think of a word that doesn't exist 😉

I think a acronym that has a meaning such as Twig - the writers guild. or dog - dancing over ground, ect.
So that the acronym for it is easy to remember and fun to say/type.
