Need a new custom style - Get Unlimited Hosting!

We need a new custom style for our forums. We don't make any profit in the site so we can't pay 70$ for a custom phpbb style.

If you make us or order us a style, you will recieve free 10GB of space, with unlimited features and bandwidth (including unlimited websites)! You get to leave your copyright and website URL at the footer.

So heres the style information.

- Style background fixed
- Color scheme is blue, cyan, and light
- Background will be a gradient light blue and white
- Must be prosilver and tableless or css baised table, and rounded corners for non-gradient blocks
- Navigation links need to be special
- Footer Fade out

Here's a mock up of my style that im looking for. You can work from there and use the images there. This is the View Post page.

Q: Can I put my own copyright or website in the footer?
A: Yes you may. You may add a link to your site too. I don't really care what you put down there, as long as its not offensive and too big.

Q: Why can't I just order one by myself?
A: This site doesn't make any profit, nor do I. The budget hit us very hard, making my family poor and my members losing job due to economy issue. My laptop is the only fastest system in my house. I will put in the donation system this summer when I get my credit card.

You dont make any profits from your forum because your family is poor? That doesnt make any sense.
 
They are 2 statements not related to each other. He doesn't make any profit from the site to cover the cost and he is from a poor family so he has no money offline which he can spend.
 
Well the wording of it suggests that he doesn't make any profits from his forum due to the fact that his family is poor... To which I commented that it doesn't make sense because family income has nothing to do with earning revenue from a forum.

Had he said:
"Im saying that I dont have any money at all and I live in a poor family."
instead of:
"Im saying that I don't make any profits at all mainly and I live in a poor family."

there would have been no misunderstandings. 😀
 
It was pretty obvious to me what he meant. Your rewording is still not as clear as it could be either.
 
Profits = earning money from something you've invested in (such as a forum).
 
Thank you for the explanation on the word profit. I never covered that in my National Diploma in Business course at college [/sarcasm]

It was still obvious what he meant i thought. Sometimes you have to not take things literally and think abit about it and then it will make sense.

I can't help thinking your moc-up style is based on forum promotions style 🙂
 
I apoligize for my bad grammar, but just scratch that "im so poor" thing, just being a little desperate, thank you.

I just don't have money to order a custom style. I (me) don't make any profit at all.

The idea was baised off of FP's style.

EDIT: I will try to code the style myself. Just need to figure out what style to choose.


I decided to customize a style looking like bing.com with a jQuery background. Will start this project by summer. For now, I won't accept requests ATM
