Is it 'that' file? Hmm. Lol 🙂 I have a couple of these fancy 'files' myself.

Tindris, I'm referring to the long lettered folder + the setup file that is inside of it.

hehe dude it's one fancy virus that I have had too a lot of times mainly transported through pen drives. What it did to me was starting up a irritating memory hog process back when I was on XP and had 512 mb RAM and it clogged up a nice 50mb memory out making my system.

Oh and occasionally it will spawn some porn sites while using IE nothing other than that happened and I just raw deleted everytime I got it but that was on XP.

r u completely sure it's a virus? cause i scanned it and it said not a threat, please don't go around saying it's a virus if its not. Also, i'm not sure if it's safe to hard delete it. I'm not rich, and this is a very expensive computer.

My nod32 also failed to detect it as a virus but the source of the mayhem was a folder with the same name in program files.

Although I hard deleted but my behavior was brutal with my computer and I used to reformat it every 40-50 days so if hard deleting any damage then I am unaware of it.

perhaps the ideal solution would be to consult someone with expertise on system repair where you live.

and any case take a backup of your files for just in case things.

Ok, try taking a backup of important stuff the system restoring your pc, should remove it.

It is nothing to worry about. Those type of folders are created by programs such as dot net, office updates, and windows updates.

You can delete it as it will not do any harm.
