Well, I have been playing this game the last few days and I have completed it. Well, when I say completed it it, I mean I am completely stuck on the last pursuit when you have the entire city of cops after you at level 6. You have to drive for 5 minutes (without getting busted) and then you get the call from Mia telling you about the bridge. After several attempts I finally lasted the 5 minutes and got the icon on the map but sgortly afterwards my tires were cut by the spikes so I got busted. So frustrating as this is all I have to do to complete the game 😡
I assume you have the Black Edition.
I haven't played that, but I have NFS MW, and gotten out of a 22 minute pursuit. The best thing to do is when you see a roadblock coming is put on the thing that slows the speed down, and hit a police car in the rear.
Another good tip is to go fast on freeways, and then take a sharp turn off it, and hide somewhere.

I don't think you understand. This is right at the end of the game when you literally have the whole city after you. You can't 'hide', you can't 'cooldown', you have to keep going for 5 minutes with sgt cross and all the sports police cars, suvs, rhinos and helicopters after you. If you get stuck for 2 seconds you are screwed as they will box you in and that's that. And no, its not the black edition. It's just the game for the 360.
I actually did it first try... But I'm a pursuit addict... So I do them all the time ^_^ My name is on the top of every list on the police database thing in the game 😛
You just get to the bridge and it goes into cinematic to watch you jump then slide to a halt on the other side as police cars try to stop and some go over the edge and stuff 😀
I DID IT. About 2 hours ago. Was my first try today. Just hung about at the bus station for 5 minutes then nos'ed it off the bus shelter and towards the marker. 88% through the game now I think. Just going back through the races I skipped.
Yeah, I'll buy Undercover, but Carbon and Street Racer are supposed to be naff. I'm borrowing Street Racer of my mate tomorrow though to see for myself.
What about the challenges? How many out of 65 have you done? (it is 65, isn't it? Haven't played in a long while)
Carbon is a crock, IMO; it has awesome customisation if you have the right team members but that's the only good thing in it.
ProStreet I've only played briefly, but to me any NFS without no police is not an NFS at all.
I'm looking to Undercover to make up for these two failures 😀
