Hello guys I need help advertising my website if anybody could help me? And would like to have a moderator some time soon! 🙂

You can advertise your website in other forums of the same niche. That will help to get more visitors and sign ups for your forum.

You can start with good posts and get your team.
Then it will be easy to promote.

I joined a facebook group to get some idea for my forum to make good posts and promotion. Unfortunately, both of them are now not active and my posts are still waiting for approval.
I am now not a member of any facebook page/group only active on some webmaster forums.

You need to advertise and you need a moderator for your site. Obviously, the question is do you have a budget or perhaps the better question is how much is your budget. You can find a moderator who can help without any remuneration but it depends on the situation. And you are lucky if you have a friend who is willing to moderate your site for free. With the advertising, you can turn to social media especially if you have an active account with many followers. You can utilize that. Otherwise, you have to spend for advertising.

I have never spent any money on advertising nor do you have to, it is hard work getting members, and you really need to look at your board. How many are there out there with the same Niche? Are they active? What are the more active boards doing. I have always found that affiliating with other site is a great way of getting your board out there and you do not necessarily have to stick to advertising on same Niche boards, i never have, and it works..
But i do see a trend no where people want to be paid for their services and this seems to be the biggest obstacle for most. I also found that it is a great ides to visit other server sites also rather than sticking to what you know, like some will stay to affiliating with MyBB only if they have a MyBB and generally stick to their server boards, thi is another big mistake, venture out, and have a look around..

It's helpful, sound like the new graduate students have start up and need to be sponsored for their ideas
But in our niche, i think we need grow our site quite solid to make the sponsor believe us

Exactly i advertise everywhere

I am in the same boat. I have a brand new site, only a couple of posters, a couple of sponsor inquiries, but I don't have the traffic just yet. I am making contact with the people who sign up directly to see how interested they are and to try and keep them engaged. But I need more traffic!

Would be interested in link sharing if anyone is interested! Like a 'friends of the forum' type deal.

Well, Nowadays referral marketing is the best strategy to advertise your website or business easily. It only required asking your friends, relatives, and existing customers to refer or tell about your website and its services. You can also use social networking sites for advertisement.
