im about to open a what i want to be gaming discussion community i want help and some advice. I have always wanted a very big active community and im ganna get a domain and i got hosting. Can someone give me some advice on how to make this blow up???

As Tipper said, you need to be original. There are a lot of gaming boards out there, and you should be able to make it stand out if you plan something innovative. I'll leave you to create the ideas, though.
You should also remember that the biggest of forums take the biggest amount of dedication- so don't expect a massive forum with a legion of members straight away. Patience really helps in allowing forums to become active, and a good range of staff can easily help you achieve this.

Give full potential and dedication towards it. One improvement is your spelling, grammar and puncuation. Make it difference for once, the only way your gonna be big is if you provide something new, something mind-blowing, something that blows my hat of my head. The only way you can do that is if you give full dedication to atleast on hour of brainstorming each night. Believe me it will take time for it to kick in to achieve 100, 500, 1000 members, just focus on a stable community that atleast provide useful post's then your on the correct tracks.

Make some unique descriptions and get a not-so-overused theme. If you go phpBB, I also suggest the phpBB SEO mod. If you go with MyBB, the Google SEO mod is fantastic for them.
As for domains, look for coupons which can save you money and be sure to buy a .net, .com, or a .org. Hosting could either work free or paid. You could start off with free hosting and move on to something better as it goes better. I doubt you'll ever have to get a VPS, considering even this forum is on shared hosting still. But do your homework when buying a domain or hosting from someone. Look at their reviews.
