Need help optimizing my forum theme

I need tips on optimizing my forum theme. Right now, the forum theme shows the name of the forum as the description and that shows up in Google search. But I really doubt anyone ever searches by my forum title. I'd like to add a nice descriptive title, not just the name. Are there other ways to SEO optimize a forum theme?

Hmm. Have you tried the old method by adding a <h1> or <h2> tags? That helps a lot. But make sure to use CSS to adjust the font style, color and size of those tags too. Do not make it to small like normal text, because Google might not like it. ><
