Well if it's that new then of course it will work.
Just make sure you have it run in compatibility mode XP or 98.

I'm a complete noob with computers, what do you mean run in XP compatibility mode?

After install right click the icon to start the game.
Click properties.
Select compatibility.
check Run this ....
Then apply and ok.

And that won't change anything on my actual computer right? Just on the game?

Yes it just makes the game think it's playing on a XP.

It should. I have seen pretty bad computers that can run this okay. It should work if your computer has the ability to run Windows 7.

Yeah Age Of Mythology should work well, it does on my 3 year old dell laptop.

Also, Age Of Mythology is probably my favorite RTS. I played that game so damn much with my friends, great times indeed.

Um sorry didn't see that. Anyhow from what I remember I had Age of Mythology on multiple computers, as long as it's the same game from then and they didn't update it with any DRM yeah.
