Well, no forum will ever just start off being popular. You have to draw a crowd to the community and that will take time, I know. Continue to work on promoting everywhere, not just FP. Also, continue to work on posting because search engines LOVE new content to index. It takes time, that's all.
You need more posts. A lot more. (I mean you currently have 126 posts and 11 members. That's roughly 11 posts per member. That's not really many posts at all if you think about it. Some people can post 11 times in a half hour or less.)
Do some post exchanges.
Use FP to get some post packages.
Post new topics.
Next time to start spreading the word...
- Post ads for your site here.
- Look for other active directories to add your site to.
- Add a signature link advertising your site to any sites you do post exchanges with (if they allow signatures with advertisements. Most sites do, but check first just to be sure.)
- Tweet about your site on twitter.
- Consider making a youtube video/channel advertising your site and unique content. If you're all about gaming, you should post some gameplay videos of yourself or members to show others your skills.
- Get some affiliates (perhaps some other gaming sites or look for non-gaming sites to affiliate with to increase your exposure.)
And of course, remember that making a forum grow takes time and work. Months to years. Don't expect immediate success overnight just because you opened a forum.
