Need help with some questions

I've never used a proper host before, only the free forum host that my general forum is on:
http://anything.freeforums.org/
The free host i'm with at the moment is charging me for a copy of the database, which i will trnasfer to a new host.

Here are my questions:
-What is the best free host? I'll be using my own domain for the forum, so the host shouldn't charge me to do so.
-What should i do about backing up my forum? I want it to be backed up online for free automatically, say every day or so.
