I have made a forum with forumotion.com but I can't seem to register with the support forum. I fill out all the details, confirm my password, and it just redirects me back to the registration screen without a word of explanation.
What is going on, I have tried everything and just cant register with forumotions support forum!!!
I just tried and also got this error using both FireFox and Internet Explorer. So you're not alone - couldn't find a solution so might be worth Emailing them?
Having said that, I don't have a clue what any of the contact Emails are. ~neutral~
I'm stumped really, apparently its been going on for a year or so, some others haven't been able to register. WTF . . .
How am I supposed to report problems and stuff, its a shame cos its a really good host . . .
I'm not sure it's been going on for a year, as I registered there a few months ago when I needed to contact the admins about theft of some images I made.
The best I can suggest is to wait for someone with an account (I've lost my account details) to come along and contact the Admins for you.
I had a poke around their support forums and apparently its happening to any forum hosted by forumotion, so they're aware of the problem, although as far as I know, people are okay registering at my forum that's hosted by forumotion.
Its just after all the problems I have with free forums.org I found forumotion and it has so many cool extras, and allows full customisation of the forum itself, I even made and uploaded forum icons and flashing ones I am so pleased with forumotion, and this happens. I just hope it doesn't effect the board.
If they are aware, then it should just be a matter of time before the problem is solved. Support is a key factor, and something that would turn away users, which you can bet they don't want.
Until they fix the issue, remember, we do have a 'Forum Support' section here that will be able to solve the minor issues -🙂-
Its a really good host forum-wise, iv managed to do everything without having to even look at the support forum, i just went to sign up so i can promote it, but apparently there ARE problems lol
Lol, there are always problems, little or big. Like Ghost said, we have some great experienced Administrators on this site, we could probably help you just as well 🙂
The problem has now been resolved and have signed up lol Seriously, constructing and customising my new forum has gone great, the only issue was I couldn't sign up on the support forum but that has since been solved. Thanks for everyones help ^_^
