Need help

I'm running my paranormal site for a few years now and for some reason I can't get popular I got pretty much anything that could be needed to make it appealing and yet so little traffic.
For instance I got:
A daily updates mainpage with stories:

An large encyclopaedia with loads of entries:
http://www.sw-gm.com/articles.php
And an forum with atleast 3 topic's a day:
http://forums.sw-gm.com/index.php?a=1

Yet my traffic is limited and I only have a handful of members that actually stay.
Any tips please?

I found the orange hard to see against the black. Ther are many boards which may be better if compressed.

Love the pumpkins though.

I notice you have 564 members, how many are active?

About 20 are active and maybe 20 more that come every now and then

Personally I don't like forums with a black background and normally I don't join them. You might want to consider whether or not many of your potential members feel the same way.

Your domain name obviously has a hyphen in it and it is not very memorable. Having a memorable and easily communicated domain name helps your forum a lot as it is easy for people to tell their friends about it. You might think about moving the forum to a new domain.

Again it's just a personal opinion, but I feel that the images you have beside each forum title and description look a little unprofessional and some visitors might find them off putting.
