Need opinions?

Well in part to make forum's successful and help out admin's, which is my forum's goal I have started to think if I were to create a promotion service area would it be better for admin's use to gain activity and better use of their forum or am I all in one to leave it out. My forum run's along the line's of administering and helping people gain help and knowledge on managing their site, I did create service's for v1 of the forum but we rushed our opening?
So what do you guy's personally think.

Adding a promotion section within an admin/webmaster related forum is a good idea. I don't see why you shouldn't.
