Need some help with transparency using Corel Paintshop Pro 2023.

I'm trying to create a new logo for my 40k games site. I'm using Paintshop Pro 2023.

The skull logo is a raster. It sits atop the text which is another layer. The whole thing has a transparent background (the orange is so I can see what I'm doing and sits on another layer!)

The effect I am looking to achieve is to have a transparent border all around the skull logo so that it doesn't merge into the text.
