Well my host usually bills me automatically but one day they did not and that caused a big down fall for our member's so now it's like inactive I have tried emailing members that didn't help do you have any idea's what we should do?
Regardless of the circulstances, the financial resonsibility of the website falls upon you, the owner. And when something like this happens, it is detrimental to a community because one website is entirely hosted on one server. At my site, we separate our services over several servers and providers. For instance: chat is hosted by xat, forums hosted by forumer, website hosted by my server, newsletter distribution hosted by yahoo, secondary mailing list hosted by google, etc. Never put all your eggs in one basket.
