Does anyone know of some small URL shortening sites? Small as in, aren't well known.

Skimlinks' url shortener is quite good, also it will turn the link into an affiliate link if the link was to an online store.

Here's another one I found - http://mo.by/

You shouldn't use small sites too much because if they close then all your short urls will be broken.

I don't want to have to signup for anything or wait on their homepage for 5 seconds lol.

I recommend bitly.com. I love the fact that you can track your URL traffic if you opt to become a member. Otherwise you can still simply use the service without needing to sign up.

I know some people use link shorteners to make money but link shorteners dont' really make the links easier to remember since it look like a random combination of numbers and letters.

Bit.ly lets you use custom names for it. I think bookmarks are a better way to keep track of what websites you want to visit again. You can also post the link to your Twitter, Facebook, G+ to save, and share.

x.co is what I always use. Shortest one out there I believe.

-- 13 Apr 2012, 06:04 --

x.co is what I always use. Shortest one out there I believe.
