Want VB expert who can fix internal server 500 error.

G!

That sounds more a problem with your sever. Have you checked with your hosts?

Do you got MSN? Pm me your MSN. Also VB for Visual Basic or Vbulletin.. I'm assuming vBulletin if it is giving you a web error.

So far the error are at Newpost, Search and ACP.

Also checked with host co (it says every thing is fine with host)

The Error is as under;

-----------------------------------

" Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@ - - -.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

It sounds like you edited something, and it went wrong... Do you have a backup from a day or so before the error started?

I believe its an error caused by .htaccess or file permissions. Did you recently install a mod?

GeeOne who are you hosted with and do you have a .htaccess on your server?

Could be problems wrong with the permissions, are any files or folders chmodded to 777?

I don't know if i can help, but i could try.

Btw, sometimes Internal errors come from PHP scripts failing.

This is the ACP error (Image attached)

/includes/adminfunctions_navpanel.php
/includes/class_xml.php
/includes/xml/cpnav_vbulletin.xml

Those are all called by the vbulletin sidebar thing, Check that they are chmodded to 644

If that doesn't work, It's most likely the host.

I think there is a problem with /includes/class_xml.php, shows the error
