Needle Phobia

How are you with needles? I've got an extreme phobia but I had to have a blood test this morning. For the first time for a long time I didn't even feel it 😱

Yeah for someone on insulin it would be a 'normal' thing. I talked with the blood test tech and he said even some of the chemo and dialysis patients still have severe anxiety.

Oh absolutely, it takes a long, long time to get past it, so I can easily see people who have to deal with needles a lot still being afraid of them.

I got blood work yesterday morning too!! Was that you I saw? 😀 I know it wasn't but that's kinda funny we both had it on the same day.

No, I'm not afraid of needles. I don't mind watching them draw blood, but I think it makes them nervous so I really don't watch anymore. I have been going every 4-6 weeks lately to get my blood work to check my thyroid hormones.

No problems 😉 I loved to get pricked and pocked into everyday 😛 I love seeing my blood bleeding and spitting out. Every person is different anyway. People can handle things more than others.
