Netflix Gift Card Raffle - Would this work?

I am thinking of running a raffle on my new forum http://webtvforums.com/ as a promotional item. Now the thing is I have tried running raffles before on different forums and I never did have much response on them. I see on Amazon there are a few different ones that could be purchased https://www.amazon.com/Netflix-Gift-Cards-E-mail-Delivery/dp/B00YD563L8/ so now the first thing would be what would be attractive enough to get people involved in this.

The other things is you really don't need people registering making one post taking a ticket and then you just never see them again. So what baselines should I be looking at in this respect?

All ideas would really be appreciated, please also vote in the poll.

A Netflix gift card would be good even for those who already have Netflix, since they can use it to pay their existing bill for a few months.

It is probably one of the best options that you have. However, it somehow does not bring a lot of emotions for people. Have you ever got excited when you get a gift card as a present? Even if you'd buy something truly valuable and cool for yourself afterwards it still doesn't trigger emotions that much.
