You know you can make your Banner change text using GIMP?

You just open as layers>select your banners that you want to change back and forth. Then filters>animation>playback
And you can watch. Then save as a gif animation. I think you can change the speed while you are saving it.

Well its simpler than that but im not very good at explaining...
