This looks like Treyarch took it upon themselves to make what MW3 couldn't: a good game. And let's be honest, as Treyarch ever made a "bad COD"? I mean, most people love or hate Black Ops, but there is still love. WAW brought zombies to us all. COD1-3 obviously got a series started (with exception of COD4 making the series).
I'm a little surprised I admit about futuristic, but nonetheless, I'll get.
One question left: Zombies?

Anyway I hope Black Ops 2 is as good as Black Ops was I liked the first one hopefully the 2nd one is just as good, but to be honest it seems all it is about is Human vs Robots. :lol:
I think this new installment looks quite nice. I wasn't too interested in Modern Warfare 3. It just seemed like the same thing that MW2 was. At the least, Black Ops brought back the game in a way where you needed some more skill to play it; killstreaks not stacking, recoil/kick on guns (somewhat), etc. Honestly, I think Treyarch's COD games are much better than those made by Infinity Ward. They seem to be more balanced. Modern Warfare is basically this: camp, get some kills, and sit out in a dark corner while your killstreaks stack and get all the kills for you. While I greatly enjoyed Modern Warfare 2 when I had it, I feel that Infinity Ward could have done so much more with Modern Warfare 3. I was disappointed when Modern Warfare 3 came out, in all honesty.
I have to say, I do like the new "futuristic" element that they're incorporating in Black Ops II. I always wondered what a COD game would be like if it was done in a more futuristic style. Sadly, I no longer have my PS3, but hopefully I can get either another PS3 or 360 by the time this game comes out; I'll definitely go out and buy it if I can.

Meh, looks okay. Not a huge fan of the futuristic thing as that's basically killing the entire storyline of the original black ops, however the vehicle combat should be a bit fun. Let's see how the multiplayer is; might get it off steam when my PC is up to par 🙂

BTW - for those of you who think they are "Stealing vehicle combat" etc., remember this is NOT the first COD made with vehicles in multiplayer. Specifically, World at War had them in select maps. I bet the same applies to this COD.
