Or you can turn it into a dedicated server.

Well all my stuff was on my old computer's hard drive so I went to the store to buy a hard drive enclosure (which turns it into a external and you can connect it to any PC with its usb cable)..

Anyway I go to the store, buy the hard drive enclosure, take it home, use it to extract all the stuff off my old hard drive, then return it to the store saying "Its the wrong one" and got my money back.

Now my old computer is ready to be erased, reformatted, upgraded to windows 7 (my bro will do that) and sold. I'll probably be able to make back a good chunk of the money I spend on my new computer. 😎

Wow, it appears that you have everything figured out. 😛
Sounds like you got a nice computer. 😉

Wow, nice specifications there pal.

I like it, I want it now. Care to share? 😀

I have ordered a server computer with a supermicro motherboard on it. Dual CPU and 4 ssd hard disks. Also it will have 8 GB of ram. But it's not totally mine, I will share it with my co-partner.

Why are people talking about their own computers? This topic is about ME!! (just kidding) 😛

Loving my new computer!!!! I think I am going to put another 4 gigs of ram/memory in and really see what this baby can do. 😀

If you try that on a dell it was just take you no where faster

No doubt you can tell a difference in performance. Congratulations on the new computer. 🙂

There really isn't much of a major performance increase in any computer in 4 GB's and 8 GB's.

I wouldn't bother with that especially if you don't have a 64bit OS. Your computer won't be able to detect it all. Plus 4 gigs is a lot anyway and the others are right that you won't see much difference.

If you do a lot of video editing/3D programs will you notice a great improvement in the speed of the renders. I am jealous of you :L

It is 64 bit :great:

You'd probably be better off upgrading your graphics rather than upgrading the RAM. Onboard graphics are usually really bad (I assume you're using onboard), so you might want to get a video card. Even slower video cards generally outperform onboard graphics.
