I don't really like the skin you use as i don't like forums with fixed background images so when you scroll down the images stay in the same place.
Other then that i would just start a few topics to get people to start posting and let it grow from there.

I agree with you about the scrolling image. I don't like how the image is fixed. However I was crazy about the background.
I felt the background fit what the cord of my message board is all about.
I will continue to look for one that will serve the same purpose but not fixed.
I do have more forums than the ones that are viewable on the index page but registration is require for full access and posting rights.
I have made a few posts and I am in hopes of more members joining as the site is promoted.
