Hello,

I have my domain set up and when I click on anything on my forum it goes to the old domain? How do I change this?

Thanks.

You possibly have the forum set up to the old domain in the config file. You need to edit the config file (config.php) and edit the domain name to the new one. 🙂

config.php file can sometimes be in a folder called "/includes"

Yea it has to do with the config.php file and cookie settings which software are you on?

Ok go to ACP
go to configatration
then general settings
Than chage the cookie sttings and forum url

MyBB and there's nothing in the config file to do about that.
Yes it has to do with the config file or you wont be able to login in the acp.

Thanks a lot!! This also solved the other problem I was going to bring up: I wanted to change the directory name to /forum but I got errors when I did. +Rep.

Just to let you know those setting are same as the settings in the config.php file, so some people are unable to log into the acp because of the cookie settings so, the config.php is the only way then.

Your wrong. Maybe for other softwares but for mybb there is nothing for that in the config file.

Yes you are right, I mean the settings.php file not the config. Has been a while since I used MyBB. During host changes people update the config.php and settings.php file.
