The skin you're using seems fairly clean and simple, although I'm not really sure if it's relevant to your forum. When you visit a forum the first thing it should scream to the user is what its about. For example when you visit a general chat forum the first thing you normally see are pictures of speech bubbles or people talking talking.
With the exception of your site title, there isn't a whole lot that gives away what your forum is about, and nothing that would really appeal to a drummer. So if I were you, I'd choose a different skin that allows you to choose your own banner, head down to our Graphics Exchange and have somebody make you an aweomse banner that screams "We're a forum for drummers".
Also it might be worth asking some of your friends / family to help you get some discussions on the go. You'll quickly find that nobody joins an empty forum unless they have good enough reason to, and that just isn't there.
