I'm all for making fun of Fowler's farm life, but PLEASE don't make fun at slow internet connections. My parents are paying for DSL, but I ran a speed test (with the router unplugged, direct connect to the internet) and got a max of 50kb/s. Wasn't dial up 56k? Mhm, don't poke fun...

If the server is that slow i'm paying the extra money for space interwebz

I just came here and read this today. Didn't notice it was a joke until I got to the second paragraph, and was like, "wait a second..." ~razz~

I was surprised it tricked so many people... I spent so long writing it trying to make it sound realistic and thinking what would i write and how would i feel if this was true.
