At USHost247, we are all about keeping our customers happy and make them feel welcome and secure on our servers.

We would like to join everyone in our brainstorming to help with new ideas on things we can improve or change or even add.

As a viewer, what suggestions do you have for USHost247? What ideas do you have that we could implement that would make you want to be hosted by our servers?

https://www.USHost247.com

Things to do:

1. About Us Page. We will get one created soon.
2. Logo, we can see what some people can come up with when we put a request in. Not guaranteed, but we will attempt.
3. Live Chat, we do have live chat and when it's available the image is actually floating on left side of the screen. We originally was going to use the button, but the floating button seemed to fit nicely. We will see if we can get the button to do same thing as floater. πŸ˜‰
4. We don't use social networking "very" often, so we may just remove those images from the template all together.
5. Change "Portal Home".
6. Add Meta tags to the pages.
7. Shrink footer

Strike = Done.

To be honest, your host just looks reasonable and not much to be added.
The only suggestion I can give is, add more knowledge articles etc.

Alright, that is something we can definitely work on. πŸ™‚ Thanks!

Anything else?

Change your title. On the homepage it's appended as Portal Home - USHost247
Show newer testimonials or a page which we can view them on. Your homepage only shows two.
An 'about us' page? I couldn't find one.
Update the Twitter and LinkedIn icons in the footer.
Get another logo. There is nothing wrong with your current one, but maybe update it to something other than just text.
Live Chat points to the contact page. Is it really live chat or just tickets/emails?

Those are just a few things I found.

The social icons would be better off hidden if you don't use them. If I think or see of anything else I'll let you know.

Yes Chris, you do need meta tags.
For WHMCS use something like this:

Code:
{if  $filename=="index"}
   <title>Your title here</title>
    <meta name="description" content="Your meta here">
{elseif $filename=="sharedhosting"}
    <title>Your title here</title>
    <meta name="description" content="Your meta here">
{else}
<the default WHMCS meta here>
{/if}

Paste this in your header.tpl and customise accordingly.
By using Smarty you can define meta for separate pages.
But control the meta from one page...the main header file.
It takes a bit of getting used to. PM me if you get stuck. πŸ˜€

Thanks Quiver, I will add this to the list of things to do. πŸ™‚
Let me know if you get stuck. It took me a couple of attempts to get the hang of it. If you're not careful, you see, you'll end up with Smarty errors. πŸ˜‰

I actually got it on the first attempt in the coding. πŸ˜› It works.
Just got to add additional code for the other pages.

Ha ha! That's coz you followed my tutorial. πŸ˜‰
The tutorial I followed was not quite so clear.
But well done for getting it to work. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Why not offer additional extras like 'We'll set up a wordpress blog' or 'We'll set up a mybb forum'?

The black area in the footer is a little larger than it could be. Try making an excerpt of the testimonials and link them to another page? This would stop them making the footer so big.

Thanks, this is very much something we could work on and improve on!
