New Forum - $100

If you were to make a forum and had $100 to make it with what would the forum be about and what would you spend the money on?

Probably Video Game related. And I would buy TLD's and also maybe some ad space on other forums.

I already have a pretty well established forum... so aside from probably switching to a paid software like IPB, I don't know what else I'd do.

- I already have hosting.
- I will be planning on having a few cash tournaments in the occasion.
- Use the money to make money.
- I MIGHT consider putting some in advertising, but I don't right now think it's necessary.

There are a few ways, but essentially, you use the money to drive in more revenue. In my case, I could attract users through cash tournaments, for example.

It essentially means short term investment for long term success. Using that money to generate more users through contests or advertising or new features in the short term, will most likely bring positive long term results because you may have attracted long term members, potentially creating a bigger community.

Easy:

- Depending on what I think, SMF for no cash or IPB.
- Domain (.com)
- Hosting
- E-mails
- Amazing Custom Design + coded (I can slash this in half b/c I got friends and I design)
- Give-a-ways
- Maybe *POSTING* (only) packages
- What's left goes back into monthly costs.

I don't believe in flat up paying for adveritsements. It increases your views, not your member counts. I mean, if I had spare money, yeah I'd consider it.
