New forum Idea

I have a plan for starting a dedicated forum for a particular indoor game. It would be great to hear from your experience on running and your interests to join in it

I can understand your reason for not revealing that yet. However, it is difficult to give an opinion on how successful your forum could be, without knowing what it will be about. There is at least one very popular chess forum, so if the game is popular, there is probably no reason why you could not make a success of your forum.

Board, card or what game ? 😀 its hard to tell but i think if the game is popular there must be a forum out there.

I would definitely recommend sections such as:
-The sport in general
-Apparel
-Tactics
-Similar sports
-Intramurals in general

I'm sure you have some ideas. You want to make sure that you have enough content to prevent people getting burnt out. Talking about one niche can be fun, but after a year or two you don't want old members to get bored / run out of things to talk about.

Thanks for the heads up, I am going ahead with my plan, there are some custom scripts for optimizing the forum in development.

You should create a highlight reel for the game, or post up some videos on YouTube. This could definitely help you get visitors.
