Description: A forum for experimenting with PHP, and web design, also discussing music, (but so far nothing started with music)artwork,drawing animations,creative writing, programming. This is just barely getting started and the "shaping" of it will be dependent on what direction the earliest members take. You can post photos or images. Originally I just started it as a experiment, with phpBB3 software. Others interested in working with this are very welcome.
I would like to see it grow into a "fun" forum, right now it is a pretty lonely forum. It is strictly non commercial,..
In relation to programming, shareware, and development discussions, are welcome, any links to real share ware, and open source programs are welcome.
Groups or individuals may request starting sub forums, to suit any special needs.
New edit: I would like to add a little, about me, and this site. I am a artist, craftsman, and work carving and cutting stone, the computer,programming,web design, or my web site and forum are hobbies, but I take them very seriously. On the forum I talk a little about qb64, a qbasic style compilers but for windows, this is the only programming language I no anything about, unless you consider html a programming language.
I am self taught, in everything I do, including at work. Never got past the 5th grade in school. So even though this forum and site, are no where near as good as most sites, nor fancy,.. I am proud of myself, because it took a lot of effort to learn enough to get it started. It is a very different type of forum and web site the normal, run of the mill. I am hoping to attract other writers, artists, programmers, persons that enjoy creative activities, and would like to share they're experiences. This would include those that perhaps have learning disabilities.
I guess I best end the description here, I will be posting more, but on the forum, about my goals for the forum. Sorry if the grammer is not to good either, but I really am doing the best I can.

Your header image is too big to be honest. I'd recommend a much smaller one. Also it'd look better if it was centered.
I noticed some spelling mistakes in the descriptions of the forums. You really need to fix that, or its gonna give the impression that you don't really care too much about the forum.
I'd recommend adding some navigation buttons at the top of the page too
Other than that, its a good idea for a forum.

Thanks again, I did make some changes,..But I am not to sure I like them, Part of the problem is not knowing how to do what I want to do. Perhaps there is a topic/category, for asking about that, I need to browse this forum.
I am curious, I don't mean to "bump" my post,..but makeing a reply will bump it ?...( I still don't have 10 posts, and I don't think it has been 7 days) Since this forum is also powered by phpBB I may get some good ideas here.
On my "spelling errors, it is a ongoing struggle for me, lots of them are "typos",..I need to slow down and take more time to pay attention to which keys I hit. Ok well guess thats about it. Thanks again for takeing a look and oferring this site.

You should run a spell check on the descriptions again, there's a lot of mistakes there. I know you might be in a hurry, but these descriptions are very noticeable, and they need to be spelled right, otherwise your going to lose potential members 😉

I think that was a legitimate reply so its not bumping 🙂

I looked at my discriptions, I think I corrected some, you had mentioned that on your first comments, too, but I had misinterpreted, and thought you refering to the sight,...With the mordern day software and spell checkers, this is not a good excuse, but it is true,...my schooling ended at the 5th grade,..even though often it is typos, also on many occasions, I don't know the correct spelling. So what I did just now, is copy my discriptions, and I am going to edit it, off line useing a spell checker. If there is a spell checker in the editer here, I did not see it. Some words I corrected,..but and this is kind of embarrasing,I am not sure if I got them right. I guess thats about it, I could say more, but it would be way off topic.
A couple of things ,I can add to my description, then I will edit it.
I do appreciate the suggestions, because I really do want to get this forum going nicely and do it right.
It has taken me years, to get where I am now, with webdesign, and working with computer programing,setting up a forum, etc. Long story..As a artist, though the ideas I have, and desire to design a interesting sight, are very strong, however with work 6 days a week and then the family,..it is a slow process for me. Anyway thanks again..

I don't know where they all come from, but I get 10 to 15 new account notices, every day,..but when I check the e-mail addresses and IP they are all known spammers :lol: or at least listed as such. But anyway, I also want to add, I am not really looking for a high number of members, but would like to attract a few, that work together in makeing a nice enjoyable forum.
