(New) Free Reactions and Avatar Display Mods for GoodNews.ink (phpBB)

Cool to see that there's a free reactions mod. I paid for a different mod myself and I think it's worth it, but free alternatives are good too. I should install the Avatar Display Mod on RPG Haven, that looks like a cool mod.

I tried to do that CanIdev reactions mod also, but it wouldn't work.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The reactions one was "in development" and I had to post a problem to fix because it was causing member profile pages to disappear.

But that's fine and I think it's a good mod, but I don't know much about security threats.
 
What I would do if I was you start again but this time with less mods for better security I think straight out the box most open source software are secure but it’s when you add themes and mods to it if it ain’t latest patches it bound to fail.

Make up a back up on each update before you Install anything.

I am not a big fan of PHPBB

Well, it's difficult for open software to be the best when nobody wants to pay for it, when it's dependent on volunteers. That's not the fault of the software really.
 
Are you sure this reaction extension is working? I have tried a few but they're are not working.
