Hi, Chad here, founder of 50 ZONES. Glad to be part of this awesome community. I recently launched my gaming forum and am looking for some feedback. I still got some stuff in the works (categories, contents, etc.). Please review my gaming forum and let me know what you like/dislike, and what I could change or add. Feel free to join too if you are interested.
I think the Stadia board should be removed and replaced with a retro section. Stadia is pretty much dead, and there’s lots of people like me who love retro games. Other than that it’s looking great!
Your forum looks goods, very professional in fact. It's relatively easy to navigate but I'm seeing content in threads that doesn't appear to be part of the thread. It doesn't look like advertising and the size of it is really intrusive, breaking the conversation flow.
I've no idea which software you are using which is unusual but great because it suggests a lot of effort has gone into the look and feel of the site.
You've entered a really difficult niche which makes it hard to gain traction. The best advice I can give is to offer something unique. Quality content that can't be found elsewhere, perhaps focuing on a new game that's in development.
You've made an excellent start, I wish you well with it 🙂
Forums are hard enough so I give anybody kudos to starting one. What a lot of people here do is Post Exchanges & even Posting Packages to help get some discussions going.
It'd also be helpful to have a light theme available as an option if that is possible.
Best of luck 🙂
@Ravenisawesome Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I removed the Stadia category as Google is shutting it down as well. I’ve also added the board for Retro Games.
@zappaDPJ All thread issues are fixed. And thanks for great advice, I really appreciate it!
@ZandraJoi Thank you. I was thinking of an option to make a light theme as well.
I think gaming forums are super hard to do anymore. Mine was basically a hybrid type of forum where it had gaming forums and such. It didn't take off and had it open since April of this year.

Sorry to hear it didn't work for you. I have to agree a bit, but I think it's not just gaming forums, but forums in general also struggling because of social media and chat apps like Discord. I still see a lot of gaming forums that are still very active. I'll see how it goes for me.
Having a forum with such an obscure name, especially one that starts with a number rather than a word, can be very tricky to promote and for people to remember. I'm also not sure how good it'd be for SEO.....
