CyberFreak
Legendary Typer
Since we have moved there will be some new general rules applied to all areas of the site.
Signatures
Please make you signature 550px by 250px at the maximum. This will help the pages load quicker if there are less or smaller images. It will also make the page shorter so you don't have to constantly scroll past everyones signatures.
Following Guidelines
When posting in some of the forums here you will find an announcement with posting rules or structures inside for posting in this forum. There has been many users not following the structures posted. These help potential members see what your site clearly and provides alot more information then just "please join my site http://www.whatever.co.uk". If you fail to follow the rules your topic will be deleted of locked with the link removed at the moderators/admins discretion. You may even be warned!!!! The rules are clearly marked so there is no excuse for not following them other then lazyness.
Warnings
If you spam, don't follow guidelines, cause trouble or PM advertise you may be warned. Warnings last as long as the staff feel they should last. If you get warned you will be notified of the reason.
PMs and PM advertising - UPDATED.
We are getting tired of people advertising via PM and we are introducing stricter rules to try and stop this. From now on depending on how much you PM advertise you could face a permanent ban from forum promotion. If you have been caught once you will be put into the PM Restricted group which is a group of members who have had there PM's taken away from them. If you have been caught quite a couple of times OR you have sent about 5+ messages at the same time you will be banned permanently from the forum.
Forum Advertising
We offer loads of places where you can post links but don't post links to your forum in the off topic areas. These are to get away from promoting forums.
Please also remember there is an edit button!!!! and when you bump a topic either use the bump function at the top of the thread near print and email topic or post with more then the word "bump".
Thanks ~smile~
