What stats determine what kind of hosting you need? And what would be a good cheap, reliable host? Thanks.

Stats that you want to look at:
-What you're hosting. If you're hosting a forum, you won't need much disk space (like 100MB - but 500 MB is a good start). if you're hosting a photo album, you will.
-Who's visiting. If you have a couple hundred visitors a month, 10GB bandwidth will be plenty. If you have multiple thousand, you'll need more.
-How many sites you'll have. Hosts generally limit your MySQL databases, and you need those for every site, generally. So, if you want one site, you need one.

Those are the big stats..

A nice cheap host is the one I work at!!

And a good paid host in my opinion is GoDaddy, or Empire Hostings.

Visitors. Unique visitors mean nothing to a host.
