Christmas is here, theme supports the Xmas theme edition and setup. Days are still on going and the site is just not getting what's needed to the point that I'm asking to see what suggestions or ideas you have?

I love the Christmas theme you're using. The first thing I noticed though is you're not using meta tags, at least not for the title.

I always had an problem with meta tags, It's been added from the start but seems it never gets saved

IPB has it built into there software and so there is no need for any other plugins

The domain authority (Moz) is 25 but Trust Flow (Majestic) is 0. DR, a metric from Ahrefs can't be checked without a trial subscription (already used up). So I'd say a move up in other metrics - to match domain authority is what's needed.

Have you tried directory submissions?

Also, note, looking at the backlink profile of other gaming sites could be a help - as well as simply adding more content.
