How do you get your new ideas for posting in your forum?? Share your experiences.

I often get inspiration from other forums/blogs, but it's important to remember not to copy them. You can use them to gain ideas but then put your own little twist on the idea to come up with unique content!

Mr.Snuggles has named a good one. However, you can also take a bit of time off from your laptop and you'll eventually think of something such as questions. Especially by speaking with your friends and family or watching TV. 🙂

I do it by watching TV 😀 On top of that, I make a mental note about a few things that I think would make an amazing post when it comes to my mind, even at the odd hours of the night.

Also, you dont need to adopt a specific method of firing up your brain to post. You will get hit by the best topics once you are able to see what the community is all about.

A lot of research goes into my posts, so many times I will go directly to an authoritative site such as Google's webmaster central blog. This blog is very informative and shares the latest SEO related information first. Sometimes, I will get an idea for a new forum post by reading over the latest SEO developments.

Sometimes, my best forum post ideas come to me while I'm offline. I rarely have issues with coming up with new forum topics, so long as I am happily busy offline. For this reason, I keep a notepad with me to make a note of ideas that I might want to discuss on my forum later.
