New Logo - Feedback

I have just designed a new logo for my forums.

I tried to make it fit in with the scheme of my forums which is blue, I think it fits in well 🙂 : http://www.clansrus.co.uk/forums/index.php

Feedback is appreciated. I am not a design guru, this is 1 of my first logos 🙂

It's rather small and simple to be a logo, but it does have originality. Maybe have some background and extend the logo sideways?

It's my first ever logo, so I can only get better.

Thanks for the feedback, I will do another with it sideways. I can't add a background other than white.

I will also make the image bigger 🙂
