Hello all, what would be some good solutions to encourge new members to post and stay active?

Right now new members only make a few posts and leave.

What will keep members posting in any niche forums :

1. Contests ( good prizes / not any worthless forum cash )
2. Free Stuff
3. Other members creating interesting topics

- We are currently giving away a free copy of Homefront.
- Point system where you can buy user names, user titles, user ranks etc.
- The old members make new topics frequently.

Make sure you welcome them most importantly. If your member posts a reply to a topic, reply back, if preferable with a question back to them so they can come back to reply. If they make a new thread, always, always reply even if you have no interest in the content.
