new need for speed most wanted compared to the old one?

I prefer the older Need for Speeds like Need for speed Underground which is a street racing import car racer. The new Need for speeds don't seem to interest me as much because they seem to be mostly police chase car racing game, or street racing with regular cars.

I've not played the new one, but it looks to offer a lot more than the original Most Wanted did. I also find it more appealing because it has influences from Burnout within it, which the original one didn't, and I love the Burnout franchise.

I agree with froggyboy604 though, I preferred Underground because of the street racing aspect to it. Now Need For Speed and Burnout feel like the same core thing of fast racing and crashes with a few different elements separating the two. A few times I've heard people calling the newer Need For Speed games as feeling like a sequel to Burnout Paradise.

I like the new one somewhat with new graphics and controls, and also the multi-player online mode. Initially it was a bit odd to me, but racing in the new tracks made me more addictive and challenging.
