Hi everyone, you may have read the posts about me being the new owner of Forum Promotion. Truth is I hadn't planned on introducing myself until after everything was finalised between myself and the existing owners, but as the issue has already been discussed I thought it best to address the topic.
As many of you will already know, I've agreed a deal for the purchase of this excellent community. The deal isn't fully closed and finalised yet, but I've every confidence that it will go smoothly. My own background is in business and I own Business Advice Forum, which I started from scratch.
First off I'd like to thank everyone for the work they have done on making this an excellent community. I sincerely do believe that this is an excellent forum and that's why I have invested in it. It would be unfair of me to name the members and staff who have done so much for FP, because being new I might miss someone. But you know who they are and I applaud their excellent work.
Some members have expressed their wishes that I don't make any drastic changes here and I'd like to assure everyone that I've no plans to do anything like that. I purchased this community because I believe it is great the way it is.
One thing that I can be sure of is that I will make some mistakes along the way. No one is perfect and this forum is new to me, so there may be some teething problems, as I settle in and learn the ropes. Please forgive any initial mistakes I make but be sure to let me know about them or if you are not happy with something I do. Also, please feel free to ask me any questions you might have.
I'm really delighted to be here and am looking forward to learning lots and getting to know everyone here.
