'New post', 'reply' buttons will not work

I have installed many styles to my forum but the 'new post' and 'reply' buttons will not work.
I have tried a few different styles now but none will work so i dont think its the styles code.
I have also tried styles for the 3.0.4 version and styles from the older versions but still no luck.

Can anyone help?

This happened to me before.
Did you use Fantastico to install it?

I dont know as the other admin installed it. I think he did use fantastico

Hmm.. Yeah I don't know either. But Everything is the same as if you were to upload or use fantastico but it should say where the images should be maybe the images are misplaced to the wrong directory or something.

I have asked phpbb and they said its because we installed it with fantastico because fantastico puts it in US English and phpbb puts it in British english and they dont mix.

Looks like we either gotta back up the forum and install phpbb ourself or move the image files to a different folder. Grr.

its easier to back up the database then install phpBB manually.

for future reference always install phpBB manually that way you knwo if there are any problems you know what they are and it be easier to diagnose the problem a lot quicker.
