New PS3 owner, gimme suggestions

I have Heavy Rain and have sent off for used copies of Uncharted 1 and inFamous, and will be getting LittleBigPlanet 2 when it's released. What are some other good games? I'm looking into Resistance and Killzone 2, and will get Uncharted 2 if I like the first enough.

Especially in terms of mutliplayer, what are some good games?

Call of Duty: Black Ops is defiantly a good online game.
Gran Turismo 5 is also a great PS3 game.

I am not getting another CoD game. I have sworn off them since MW 2.

I've been thinking about GT5, though. Guess I'll look more into it.

Can never go wrong with the Ratchet and Clank series, haven't played much on the PS3 mostly just the first 4, but I know the 2 games and the 1 downloadable 1 are really good, plus another one is coming out next year 😀.

Black Ops is a nightmare online. Crashes and freezes constantly. I don't have any other online games besides Tiger and NHL11.

I am going to pick up Assassins Creed this week.

I agree with the Rachet and Clank series, they are fun.

@Gimgak: I've heard some good things about that series, so I'll look for a demo.

@Saruman: Only platform worth getting Oblivion for is PC, which I already have.

I don't have a PS3, but perhaps you could look into games like Warhawk, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Metal Gear Online, Socom, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Assassins Creed Brother Hood and Assassins Creed 2 are both a ton of fun if you like single player games.

Black ops fixed the bad things that were in MW2.

Plus, MW2 IS MADE BY A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!!! So this means completely different.

Assassins Creed: BH is good. Battlefield 2 has sucky multi-player.

and if you like racing games like mario kart (I doubt you do but just pointing this out), there's a game where you get to customize your character, kart, and even your own race track. It's called Mod-Nation: Racers. might look childish, but it's fun customizing stuff.

Nope, the textures are just updated from brown to green for the change in environment 😛

And mod-nation racers is a pretty good game, heard the loading times are extremely long though.

And it was made by the worse of the two CoD companies, so that really doesn't help your argument. 😉

I do like racers like Mario Kart, it's the realistic racing sims that I'm not a big fan of. I'll look into Mod Nation. 🙂

Sad thing is it's probably the better of the two now that Infinity Ward is probably 50% college interns :lol:
