New social network idea

I don't want to go into too much detail, but I'm thinking about making a new social network website. I like the idea of having simple profiles with basic user interaction. The closest thing I can think that already exists is Twitter (😂) but less 'bloggy'.

If anyone remembers the site I made, called faff it'll be sort of like that, loosely. But again, not a blog or forum type of thing.

Would you join a new social network if you thought it had potential?

Thanks, I enjoyed making faff but I definitely didn't want to run a forum in the long after a while so I'm hoping this new idea will bear some fruit haha

I think seriously that it's great to have a new concept for social media but you're going to have to find a way to be unique that will draw in curious members who like new things.

Native mobile apps would also be really important to me as I hate using websites for things!

That's definitely a pain point for me. I think a native app is a must but making an app is something I need to figure out 😂
