There are some new tax brackets listed for 2024 to help with inflation, but this is for when we file our taxes in 2025 (for the year 2024). The changes are only slight.

Can I just say...this will be my first year doing taxes. And my employer doesn't do a W2, so...
Are you a contractor? You should get a 1099 if you don't get a w-2 then?
I am...unfortunately. But I work as a full-time employee.
Ah, okay, I used to work "full time" but was a contractor and got a 1099 to file. That meant that no taxes were removed and I had to file quarterly or get fined, and that was always a pain.
