Okay, so this is a promotion that's been around for a while but I only came across it recently. Basically, there's a way that both your Wii consoles and mine can receive free 500 Wii Points 'if' you have had WiFi for less than a 30 days.
How is it done? Head to your Wii Shop Channel. There is a part there that says 'Wii Connection Ambassador." Click on it.
You will then be asked as to whether you are a 'Connection Ambassador' or a ‘Person Who Was Helped’. Select the latter.
You will be promoted to put in a Wii Console Number. This is mine and it is needed to complete the set up:
8521-1263-1022-8399
You will then be given a quick survey as to 'how I helped you' set up your Wii WiFi. I recommend just selecting 'other' for all of them. (Though if you actually need help, I'm here if you need it).
Then, go back to the Wii Menu, go to your 'Wii Message Board' (the thing in the bottom right that says 'Wii'), go to the inbox and get your Wii Console Number. Reply with your console number and I will add it to my Wii Shop Channel, allowing us to both receive the points.
