I'm currently working on a new website which tracks every time your services go down.
This website will feature support to send out SMS messages when a service goes down and comes back up. Accounts are free of charge for the tracking of up to three services at a time with pings every 30 minutes. You can upgrade your account to premium for a one off fee of $15.99 which will allow you to monitor unlimited services and have them pinged every 5 minutes. You can also have downtime emailed to you which is of course free of charge.
You don't need to premium to receive SMS messages however you will need 'SMS Credits' which are currently $0.16 each (1 is used to confirm mobile number).
The website wont be ready for a while yet but the reason I'm making this post is I would like to get a few starter members who will be willing to use this website, here's my proposal
- The first 5 members to sign up from forumpromotion will get 7 SMS credits (6 after confirmation), this will allow you to get 6 text messages (up and down are individual messages).
- The first 10 members will get a raise of services from 3 to 5.
- And I will give premium to one of those 10 members at random.
If you have any ideas that you think I could put into this website please let me know and I'll try to get them done. I hope to have the website finished in the next few days
This website would work best for people who have multiple servers and tracking each one, for those who have 1 server and list each thing like ftp, ssh, sql, etc.. it may produce spam if your main server was to go down, so if you were to list them individually and wanted SMS alerts I would recommend only enabling SMS for one of the services and having the rest on email alert.
