New Year's Resolution 2023

What's your New Year's Resolution for 2023?

I'm finally going to lose the 10 pounds I've been talking about 😉 The main reason I didn't do it was because my surgeon would freak out if I dropped a pound or two because weight loss or weight gain could be an indicator that cancer was returning. So I mostly wanted to stay the same weight because I didn't want him to keep me on as a patient for another 5 years. Now that he's released me, I'm free to do what I want 😀
 
I have a few myself that I am wanting to stick to that will hopefully help me out in terms of being more healthy and also feeling happier for 2023!
I would like to start drinking more water daily and eating better foods. As much as I do eat a lot of fruit and veg and I am really careful with what I eat and how I cook things, I would like to make more of an effort to make it so I am much more healthier in the food way.

I would also love to get myself a weighted hula hoop and try to get myself in better shape. I have seen so many people using these weighted hula hoops and they have had huge success with them so I am wanting to try that myself and see how it works out for me.
 
Other than moving house to house very near, nothing until I'm moved but like to do the following
  1. Get a car and drive
  2. Job, look for a part-time job and maybe look outside of the box to what I really wanted to do
  3. Twitch streaming I do still but not like an I get money from it.

I have a friend who bought one of those weighted hula hoops. I'm hoping she gives an update soon on if it's benefitting her.

Mine is keeping this weight off of me and I'm getting myself back on track today hereafter.
 
I stopped doing them years ago as I tend to only stick to it for a few days.
 
I don't do Resolutions but try to be better each day.
Good luck to everybody who creates theirs this year! You know, why not have a thread going for the Resolutions? Maybe it could help people keep with them longer when they can report on their progress.

I’ve had different goals at diffeeent times, but I don’t think I’ve ever actually thought out a New Year’s Resolution. If I did, I’m sure I never stuck to it. I would like to reduce my alcohol consumption, so that’s one thing that comes to mind.
 
My goal this year, is to finally get around to fully using the gym pass I finally got last month, and use it as frequently as I am able to. Been working on loosing weight, and it is a little difficult to do so without a gym routine. Lost 28 pounds last year initially, and gained a few pounds of that back. My goal is to drop 30-40 more pounds this year, and hopefully keep it off.
 
We can keep this thread going as motivation! OR we could create an accountability thread for those of us who are working hard to become healthier as our resolutions (weight loss, muscle gain, be more active, stop drinking so much, etc...).

Whichever thread we keep going, I think it should be stickied so it's not lost in the shuffle.
& for those who don't do Resolutions, we can keep supporting others in their goals 🙂

How are the Resolutions going? It's the 2nd Monday & sometimes the gung-ho feeling starts to wane. 🙂
